Building
A Better Future . . .
CADs
is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide long-term
recovery solutions for low-income individuals suffering
from alcoholism and drug addiction. Our primary goal
is to offer affordable substance abuse treatment and recovery
support that leads to client self-sufficiency. We are dedicated
to helping people acquire the skills and tools they need to
improve their lives.
Since
our inception in 1998, we have incorporated these core values
throughout our programs and services:
• Dignity
and Respect-Often, those beginning the journey of
recovery are suffering not only from the disease of addiction
itself, but the consequences that accompany it, including
a devastating lack of self-worth. At CADS, we understand and
promote the importance of showing those struggling with addictions
that they are deserving of respect and are on a path that
will naturally lead to the recovery of their dignity.
•
Clinical Expertise and Compassion- Our credentialed
professional staff combines skill with compassion
to effectively deliver services to clients.
•
Advocating for Clients-CADS staff serves as client
advocates on an individual basis, and by continually working
within our communities to reduce the stigma associated with
chemical dependence.
• Comprehensive Treatment- While program
participants are encouraged to become responsible
for their own recovery, CADS believes that addicts and alcoholics
require a long-term, multi-level approach to treatment in
order to successfully maintain sobriety. Through education
in a variety of areas, structure, and social support, we give
clients the tools they need to recover mentally, physically,
and spiritually .
Our
values are evidenced throughout our complete continuum of
care, which includes Detoxification services, Residential
(inpatient) treatment, several levels of Outpatient treatment,
and longer-term sober living environments. Aftercare and Alumni
activities ensure that CADS clients receive ongoing recovery
support.
